1. Academic Achievement

We are happy to share the glad news that our students of grade X who appeared for the 2023-24 board examination passed with flying colors. We achieved 100% results with Akash Rout who secured 94.4% and topped our school in session 2023–24. Next we have Aishee Ishani Swain who secured 88.8% and got second position in our school followed by S. Payal Pritinanda who secured 84.6% and achieved third position.

2. Staff

ZIS FAMILY comprises of 18 well trained, well experienced, well versed and dedicated teaching staff and 20 supporting staff. Apart from the various core subject teachers, we have dynamic teachers for physical education, music, art and dance.

3. Enhancement of Skills in Teachers

As a part of Enrichment programme, various workshops, training sessions, micro-teaching programs and seminars are periodically organized throughout the year for the overall development and enrichment of skills in teachers as per NEP 2020.

4. Adventure Trips, Visits and Excursions

Our school organizes excursions and field trips every year to help students gain first hand knowledge and augment their academic learning transacted beyond the confines of a classroom in joyful company of peers. This year we organized a study tour to Panchalingeshwara for students of grade 3 to 10 whereas for students from play to grade 2 were taken to Paradeep Sea Beach and Nehru Bungalow.

5. Health and Hygiene

Good health of students is a primary concern of our school and hence we have provided the students with D-worm tablets with parents' consent.

6. CCA

Various competitions have been organized by our school for the all round development of our students like Debate competition, Calligraphy competition, Dahi handi competition, News paper reading, Diya decoration, Best out of waste and still more to come by the end of this session.

Our students are always encouraged to explore the world outside their school as well. Many participated in various intra-school competitions. In Boita Bandaan samiti pratijogita, Prerana Panda of grade 7, Aditya Krishna Mohanty of grade 6, and Snahanjali Das of grade 7 got positions and made us proud.

In My NCC Alumni competition held in Kendrapara Autonomous College, Biswajit Bhol of grade 7 got first prize in debate.

In Jila Court Stariya Competition Snahanjali Das and Prerana Panda got positions and made us proud.

7. Sports

On 6th and 7th December, we organized our Annual Sports event where students participated in 30 different events and were awarded accordingly. The event witnessed its opening ceremony with the grand inauguration by our honorable director Mr. Rai Bahadur Bikram Kesari sir whereas BEO Kendrapara Kailash Chandra Dalai sir, ABEO Mahakalapada Mr. Tanamaya Kumar Behera sir, and HM Nodal high school Raghunath Das sir joined us on the closing day as our esteemed guests. Our sports day event also marked the gracious and essential presence of our beloved parents along with their enthusiastic participation in the music chair event.

8. Extra Curricular Activities

We are extremely delighted to share that our school has been selected as hub school in hybrid learning in whole Kendrapara which makes us proud Zenithians. We are in progress with the scheme and grade 8 students will be provided with laptops.

We are also in practice of Ulipsu course to grade 6 to 8 students which enhances students’ exposure to the digital. ZIS provides students with best computer lab fully equipped with modern technology and configurations to carry out the Safal program by CBSE.

We organized a Food festival on 5th September which enriched and enhanced the student teacher bond.

We have also organized SCIENCE EXHIBITION along with other subject projects on 14th of November 2024 in which students exhibited 115 no. of models and projects which enhanced students’ practical learning and experiential learning.

These are our achievements in the session 2024–25.

Now let me disclose our future prospects

Our school will be student centric and all teachers will be trained by capacity building program of CBSE as per NEP 2020.
The holistic learning and methodology teaching will be adopted.
We shall emphasize on happy and active classrooms.
The assessment during classroom transactions will be as per learning outcome.
We shall provide the annual pedagogy to parents which may bring transparency.
We shall strengthen the assessment and evaluation process with strong strategies as per NEP 2020.
The whole school campus will work with an inclusive environment among all stakeholders like parents, students, teachers, board, and management.
All co-curricular and co-scholastic subjects will be included in the timetable as a syllabus curriculum.
We shall also emphasize vocational and skill education by various activities, visits, and practical methods of teaching.
Our timetable will be designed in such a way that bag load will be reduced and learning activity will be improved.
We will provide health and hygiene awareness through medical camps.
We will try to reduce tuition load from the minds of students and parents by teaching subjects through practical and activity-based learning.
Above all, we shall try to focus on the physical, social, and mental development of each and every student.
